What was your first day like?
Like any first day, I felt nervous, but what really stood out was how welcoming everyone was. I quickly felt like part of the team, which made settling in much easier.
What does working here mean to you?
Working here means I have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of highly skilled individuals in a positive and friendly environment. That kind of teamwork is really important to me.
How would you describe what you do?
As a Contact Centre Platform Engineer primarily working with Amazon Connect, I focus on configuring the platform to meet a customer's business needs and integrating it with other AWS services and applications. I troubleshoot any technical issues that arise and at times assist with running training sessions for new users of the platform.
What's the best part of your job?
Problem-solving!
Describe a typical day...
A typical day for me starts with walking my dogs in the morning, After that, I jump into work with stand-up meetings to discuss our priorities. Throughout the day, I take care of troubleshooting calls and focus on development tasks.

If you could have one superpower, what would it be?
The ability to understand and speak any language.
What's your favourite food?
A tricky one… anything pasta related!
If you could be an animal, what would you be and why?
I’d probably choose to be a zebra because I love that each one has unique stripes. I think that’s pretty cool!
